As an immigration attorney, Oksana Bandrivska focuses her practice on understanding and helping a diverse group of clients create their own career paths in the United States through opening a new business, working for U.S. companies, or developing and extending their existing business. She works with individuals from different countries assisting them with filing H-1B visas for professionals, L-1A/L-1B visas for multinational managers and specialized knowledge employees, E-1/E-2 visas for traders and investors as well as different types of employment based green card applications.
Ms. Bandrivska also enjoys working with talents who have extraordinary abilities in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics, assisting them with filing O-1 and P-1 visas as well as green card applications based on their extraordinary abilities.
Additionally, she helps many families to reunite in the United States by filing different types of family based petitions, applications for the U.S. citizenship and naturalization with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Ms. Bandrivska is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. She attained her LL.M degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City as well as Master’s degree in Corporate Law and Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine graduating summa cum laude. After her studies, she completed an international program in Comparative Corporate Governance at Oxford University in London, United Kingdom. Ms. Bandrivska’s prior experience includes serving as a clerk in the Kyiv court system, interning for the prosecutor’s office in Kyiv, and serving as in-house counsel at a leading Ukrainian bank.
Being naturally exposed to many different cultures through her immigration practice, Ms. Bandrivska believes that every person should have equal chances to start their family, business, and personal realization. Her active membership in the Immigration Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association as well as American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and Ukrainian American Bar Association, allows Ms. Bandrivska to gain more knowledge in practical aspects of law and pass it on to her clients.
Ms. Bandrivska is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian languages and has a basic knowledge of Polish and French.
